WHY I AM A OVERTHINKER ????

Our brain is very powerful and most important organ of our body. It can cure one's physical health and even worse it. It all depends on which path it's destined to. Our body performs according to our brain directions. Brain is the director of our body. Overthinking is a habit that can harm your body and it also makes your brain very chaotic.

Thinking about everything more than normal is overthinking like I could have done differently, second guessing every decision I made, and think about all the worst scenarios of my life is really exhausting. This habit is very hard to break.

Many of us are addicted to overthinking. Over thinkers believes they could just figure everything out and control the outcomes of things. We, the over thinkers, want to control the thoughts of people about how they feel, think and treat us. So for this we have to think over and over to discover the right things to say. This is called ‘Ruminating'. The obsessively thinking habit about something over and over in the hopes of finally coming up with the “right” answer, the “right" thing to say, the “right" way  to have control over others and the outcome of things, basically known as Ruminating. Ruminating is also a way to have control over our own painful feelings, which is what addictions are all about.

We always ignores the right thing, the right value of everything while overthinking. It starts with just our brain questioning something and even answering it. We start ignoring our positive vibes, surroundings, right people who can guide us and just let the brain do its job and mostly the outcomes is for worse. Then simply we just can't blame us as our brain did very hard job of overthinking or judging a situation, so we simply blame others or things who or which actually not at fault.

Overthinking is a psychological problem which can only worse the situation, hurt the sentiments of people around us, affects mental as well as physical health, makes us self obsessed, makes us the person who thinks he/she is always right, elevates stress level, reduces our creativity, clouds our judgements and most importantly strives our power of decision making.

Fortunately, we can handle overthinking. But it can't be handled overnight or fortnight. It will take time and we just have to be patient and do as much as we can as per follows :

1. Distracting Ourselves.

2. Change the story we tells our brain.

3. Breathe and Meditate at regular basis.

4. Let Go of the Past.

5. Help the needy.

6. Stop thinking and enjoy the moment of present.

7. Think about the success.

8. Ask yourself ‘What can I control'?

9. Forgive yourself.

10. Know your fears.

11. Seek help.

12. Write down (or openly share) solutions (not problems).

13. Try to become the person of action instead of thinking.

14. Spend time quietly in nature.


THERE IS A OVERTHINKER IN ALL OF US, YOU, ME, EVERYONE. WE SHOULD LEARN AND TRY TO MANAGE OUR OVERTHINKING OR LET IT MANAGE US.
